The Baba Tree Basket Company creates from their founding principle that good design can change lives. As a community that celebrates and sustains the Gurunsi culture of basket-making, they source their base material of elephant grass sustainably from South Ghanaian farmers and then bind it with time-honoured, indigenous techniques. Anthology honours one of these ancient craft techniques with this selection of heirloom baskets, which capture the spirit of the Ghanaian weavers who make them. Given the grass' natural wave-like character, each piece has a unique form and flow.
