Founder Priyamvada Golcha and designer Simon Marks jointly created Khanoom to celebrate the bridging of cultures through storytelling. Over the years, they have translated this vision via miniature artists across Jaipur. Anthology worked closely with the brand to bring two collections to life. One draws inspiration from a 300-year-old historic text called Hortus Malabaricus, designed by Anthology's creative team and beautifully executed by Khanoom. Commissioned in Cochin to showcase the beauty of the Malabar, each piece is individually painted and embellished with 24-karat gold. The second draws from a love for chintz, or the famous palampores. A textile that once captivated all of Europe and Asia; this collection was conceptualised by the Anthology team and created by Khanoom.
