Mumbai-based ceramic artist Ritu Shastri blends her love for travel and nature into her practice. She embraces the uncertainties of working with clay, creating pieces that feel organic and deeply connected to the world around her. Anthology selected two collections that capture Ritu's reverence for both culture and the natural world. ‘An Ode to Chettinad’ is her tribute to the architectural legacy of Tamil Nadu's towering gopuras, while ‘The Seed Pod Collection’ presents sculptural clay forms that were inspired by her journeys through Indian forests, as well as her conversations with the legendary Indian environmentalist, Pradip Kishen.
