Sarah Jerath makes pottery from clay foraged from the quarry hills near her home in Lancashire. Each piece draws from her deep respect and appreciation for the natural landscapes that inspire her practice. For Anthology, we selected a collection of hand-pinched bowls, vases and tableware that reflect the terrains that surround her through textures and colours. Each piece speaks to the geological history of the land it belongs to, so for Sarah, it is especially poignant to present her works in her grandfather's place of origin, India.
